I removed my wiper a few months ago as well as my badges. I too never once used the wiper. Love the clean look ! The plug I found at lowe's (one inch) worked perfect.

You people who never use the wiper must live in places where it never snows (chemicals on the roads make it IMMMMMPOSSIBLE to see out of that rear window) and where it never rains or the roads are very clean.

Ha! I live in good 'ol Indiana, and removed mine. It's kind of funny though, cause I thought it was never used enough for me to remove it, but now that it's gone, I want to use it...

So Cal ! Of course if I wanted to put it back on, it's about a 10 minute job.

No appreciable aesthetic difference. Was the mod free?

I think its a pretty huge aesthetic difference...a good looking car is all about the small details.

Mine cost 2 bucks and think it's totally worth it

Stay tuned, I have come up with a great way to make your rear window washer the greatest squirt gun ever.

Just a couple of more days of testing and picture dowloading and I'll post the whole process on NAM.

Cheap and real fun!

Paul

I just did this mod and got the 1inch plug from lowes, which seems a tad bit loose.

Haha, I look forward to this. I'm getting more and more tired of people riding my ***. I used to have rear fog lights on my Jetta, and when they would ride my ***, I'd turn them on and watch them drop away in the distance...

i just used some silicone caulking to make it secure.

Since I have rarely used my read wiper, it's gone. I am thinking a good coating of Rain-X will help with the rain/dirt problem.

The license plate delete does have impact.
