How do I take of the pedals and install the new ones I bought?

Can you use any pedals or do they have to be the 'MINI' brand type? I noticed the gas pedal connects from top to bottom. Will this be a problem?

 

PM mini-rolls. He has installed custom CVT pedals (they look sweet!). When I spoke with Peter @ Rspeed, he said he needed a special drill - forgot what he called it - that had a 90degree bend to it to drill in the tight quarters under the dash. I don't think you need MINI specific pedals as Moss sells the MOMO ones.

You can also buy 90 degree attachment for you current drill that will accomplish the same thing. Available at most any hardware store.

 

Close quarters drill, but the attachement would be way cheaper..
