I just picked my car up from the local car audio and security store where I got a new Python alarm system installed complete with a nice blue LED. Whatcha think?

I really like the blue LED but I would have preferred it on the top of the dash rather than on one of the front dash trim pieces. JMO.

saw one mounted on the dash as well. The installer ran it into the vents/grille on the center of the dash interior and trimmed it out nicely..It ws on. On an electric blue MCS, with the blue LED flashing, real trippy!!

I had an Audiovox Pursuit system installed for $299. The blinking red LED is on the left of the round air vent toward the driver's door. It works off the key remote, or when I lock the door w/ my key. It was recommended by my motoring advisor. I've been very happy w/ it. It doesn't have proximity- I could add that for another $100, but I don't want it. It would be going off way too often.
