Yeah, you need to find another painter. I got the best in the Atlanta metro and they prepped and painted my entire body kit for $1k. Awesome work too. Installation was a whole 'nother issue.

$2000 including the cost of new arches/front JCW bumper/rocker panels

lots of labor involved if you want them to come out nice and smooth.

Uncl3, What % is your headlight tint, and where did you get it?

Yup, we probably took shots of our cars at the same location near the start/end of the dragon. The fog pic looks to be at a similar location also. If I can remember correctly, I was with my group on top the Cherahol *sp* at a rest stop when you may have pulled in. Not sure if that was you, but me and buddy looked at a mini with driving lights that had outmotoring brackets. Luckily I got to take pics of my car before the Audi group showed up.

Don't know the percentage of the tint for the headlights but they are lamin-x headlght covers in smoke. You can buy them direct from lamin-x themselves and I think outmotoring sells them too.

I've seen gnatster's car and it is phenomenal!

I had mine done at a high-end restoration shop (Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley + custom design restorations) - $1,500 for just the paint and painting labor... I did the install myself.

Yep, that was me, we decided to take the Cherohala Skyway run a little later than our SunshineMinis group, and we turned around at that rest area, is was TOO foggy.

I hear ya Coobah. Me and another mini turned and went back because of the rain.

Back to the light covers, I haven't noticed any decrease in light. My driving at night is perfectly fine.

Arches are totally seperate. I would highly recomend in getting a new set if you decided to go this route. You can get the six pieces for around 70 bucks.

Aerokit can be obtained through your dealer. Pretty expensive that route. You can try a few vendors here or look on the marketplace when a good deal comes around. BTW, shipping for these parts ain't cheap.

I got mine painted for around $600 i think, although i do not have the aero kit on my car so that might make a big difference?

Here is an old picture of mine with the moldings done and the euro arches with no side marker lights

Does anyone have any pictures of the wide arche kit on their car? the kit where its only the arches that are wider? i saw a site that has them but it says for the cooper only? is there a difference in the arches on the cooper and MCS? i havent looked at the cooper arches very much. Im thinking about getting the wide arch kit when i get my aftermarket wheels

So does anyone have this kit?

Sorry for the Hijack question

What 6 pieces are you talking about? Where do you get those? I checked out Outmotoring and they do not show these pieces. Also has anyone installed the front and rear aero bumpers and not the side skirts, just painted the stock skirts? Like the one guy said "$500.00 " Any thoughts are appreciated .
