Whalen **** Question(s)

It is simply a friction lock thing right, no screwing on or any of that jazz? And also, what is the diameter of the hole?

Yes, just friction and now scewing. Not sure of the diameter, but it fits the stock shifter perfectly.

Sorry, I don't know the answer either, but I can tell you that once you get one, you'll love it!

Shoot Whalen an email. He's really good about responding if he's in the shop.

Is the stock shifter the same diameter as the CVT 'shifter'? Muwhahaha (I think I rigged it to work)

Not sure if you were asking about the stock **** or the Whalen, but the Whalen **** is not a friction fit - there's a spring-loaded collar that you have to retract as you push the **** onto the shifter shaft. Once the **** is fully seated on the shaft, the collar locks in place. After that, there's no way to remove the **** without first retracting the collar, no matter how hard you pull.

Sorry, I thought that's what he meant by 'friction lock'.

Also, not sure about the CVT set up.
