How to remove rear fog lights?

I'm looking to remove the chrome part of these fogs so I can paint them.

I can't get them off?

lie down on your back, slide your head under the back bumper, look up with a flashlight. There are a couple of snap tabs to release and the whole thing comes out. Pretty easy.
