Has anyone figured out the turbo inlet tube with the dos intake . I can't stop it from coming off. I've cleaned it , shorten the rubber piece connecting the intake to the map or maf ( not sure which one it's called ) ,tried the t bolt clamp from dos and hair spray and still can't get it t stay on. I'm going to my first mini meet tomorrow and really want the dos on . Any solutions would be well appreciated

 

I know this is two months late but I had just recently gotten my mini and installed my DoS intake last week and had the same issue to start...then it got worse...After installing it kept slipping off and later it just completely cracked (Bottom part of the intake hose where it meets the turbo inlet). I went down to home depot, bought a 1 1/2 inch rubber coupler (Plumbing Section), unscrewed the coolant housing and moved it off to the side, slid the coupler over the turbo inlet gasket (Rubber Piece) and then over the intake house where it meets the turbo inlet (Very VERY tight fit) then tightened clamps on either side and it hasnt moved since. I can provide pictures if anyone in the future needs them.

 

Yes pictures..I have an R56 Turbo and the stock intake has ripped right at the turbo...'
Anyone know the size ID-OD of the intake turbo on the R56 S?
1.56" I'm thinking ..but to find that size is like pulling teeth making my own..forge has it etc,. alta etc...
