That new MINI smile on my face is gone....

I picked up Wino (BEP/B MCSCa) at the dealer last Wednesday and have managed to put 400 miles on it by today. Smiling the whole time....

This evening (6:45pm) I went out to the car in the garage at Kaiser Honolulu and my Tire pressure light was on. Hmmm, curious I thought... I got out my pressure guage and checked all my tires and sure enough, the right rear run-flat went flat.

I headed over to the gas station about a block away and tried to put some air in it but it came out as fast as it went in.

Living in Kaaawa, this presents a little dilemma; Do I take it to the closed dealer and hope I can find someone to give me a ride home (not likely..), or

Call Roadside Assistance.... same issue... or

Drive home on the run flat and figure out what to do first thing in the morning.

A three footed Wino is sitting at home in his parking space....

Any suggestions? Have I ruined the tire by driving this far?

Sorry about your run-flat being..uh...flat

You can drive Wino home so long you live within 80 miles and you can only drive 50 mph. :impatient

Call roadside assistance and have Wino brought in tomorrow.
BTW, that tire with a puka needs to be replaced
Good Luck!

Feedback! Sorry to hear! I saw your beautiful BEP MINI at the dealership just a few hours before you took delivery, and it made even me smile!

Things will get better...it's just a fluke. You'll be smiling again real soon!

Runflats are great! Be glad that at least you weren't stuck in the parking lot at work, or had to drive a non-runflat out of the parking lot...that probably would have bent the wheel for sure.

Yeah, that was me... I was circling the block to get to my meeting at Kaiser.

I realize that my "first" trauma could have been MUCH worse. This just rates as annoying...

As I was motoring around this past weekend I made an observation; During the three months I waited for my MINI, I noticed them everywhere. Since I picked mine up last week, I've only seen four or five... or maybe I'm just lost in my daydreams.
