Travelling to Hawaii this month...
Hey guys!
Well, I'm going to Hawaii July 24 - July 31 for my honeymoon, and we're going to be staying at the Kona Coast Resort in Kona.
Anyone have any good tips for me on what we should check out and stuff?
Thanks!
Miles

must see places
Check out the Hilton Waikaloa hotel, It is one of the most beauitful hotel in Hawaii. Known for their boat ride around the entire hotel and the art works
Also check out the black sand beach, yep, the sand is black
Lava flow up the active volcano
is hot. Rain forest and natural water falls on the other side of the island. So, lots to see and enjoy the beaches.

If you're willing to drive to Hapuna...go to beach there...it's beautiful!
How about Akaka Falls? Volcano's National Park? Macadamia Nut Factory?
or better yet...check out Kona Honu Divers to go on a night dive to look for Manta Rays!!!!!!

i believe it's waipio valley over on hilo side/east side? just to see it from up above is cool. but if you got the adventurer in you, take the drive down. just make sure your car's ready for it.
city of refuge and captain cook monument in kona/kealakekua side. snorkel on over to the actual monument that's across the little bay. crystal clear blue water.
and of course, you gotta see the lava, especially at night.
