I have seen alot of MINIs at Kaiser Hospital where I work. I always wonder if I see or talk to these owners on NAM. So if you work at MOA, and your on this website let me hear from ya. Soon you will see my electric blue on white cruising around the parking garage. I have seen at least five different MINIs there. Who owns the white with black with bonnet stripes and a GB license plate, thats what I want to know?

i don't work at moa-kaiser, but i have done a rotation there for PT in the mid-90's. and the parking structure there sucks. i'd be so paranoid parking my mini there cause the parking spaces are just so...mini? and hon-kaiser isn't much better either. in fact, whenever i have appointments there, i try to park on king or pensacola and walk over. that way i don't hafta worry so much about clowns smacking their doors into my mini.

anyways, back to the thread...i know minihune works for kaiser, but i believe he's strictly at waipio and kapolei.

are they nurses or doctors or ...? personally, i don't think i know of many MD's driving minis, or even RN's for that matter. somehow i don't think the typical MD or RN is into driving minis, more like bimmers, benz, suv, lexus.

 

Some of those MINIs might belong to patients that need ongoing or regular care and some belong to staff.

I know of some MINIs. Yellow MC, Gold/Blk MC, etc.

I don't know that many of the owners are on NAM though I have suggested it to them. I don't usually get to go to the hospital that much except for meetings.

 

Both suggestions probably have validity, I have seen, however a mini cooper club sticker on the white mini i mentioned before. I totally agree about the tiny spaces there. I work nights so I plan on parking top level outside. Brad, you are right in the sense that I may be seeing patients MINIs. I see lots though.


To update: My mini has already been built, and is awaiting transport.

 

The PW/B MCS you mentioned belongs to one of the FP docs who works both at Kapolei and urgent care. He has Painted Hawaiian flags on the side mirrors, a white line across the front windshield and UK front plate.

Small spaces or not I do park at both MOA and HON clinics. If you need more room look for those spaces facing out to Pensacola that are straight in or facing Young street headed downward. Also more space on the corners.

Anyway, at every location I work I see 2 or 3 MINIs that belong to patients that are picking up prescriptions or visiting. I have my HMMC cards handy usually and leave a few.

 

My wife works at Kaiser in the CCU. She has driven my 03 IB/B MINI to work a few times. A couple of times a week I'm there in the morning, before I go to work
