it's here, it's finally here!!!

i fell in love with the xB when they first came out in california...

...and now the scion xB's are finally in hawaii!! i saw a whole bunch of them being transported from matson to servco on thursday. i believe they go on sale on july 1 but rumor has it that the first shipment is all spoken for.

i know there are a handful that are already on the streets of hawaii...before you know it, they're gonna multiply like flies. the xB's are so cute and very reasonably priced. and the aftermarket stuff is already out!!!

Took long enough. Darn monopoly!

keikilee -- WHEN ARE WE PICKING UP OUR TWINS?!!! [/QUOTE]
You can get the twins only if you buy them in BLACK!
Enjoy. Don't forget to bring them to autocross.

Will you have to fight with alot of other people to snag an xB?

Having fun in an xB.

Yay!!!!! My name is on the list....so they will be calling me as soon as they get one that's close to (or is) what I want.

Did the dealership open yet? They have been sending me emails and said they will let me know when the grand opening is set for....I haven't heard from them since.

T - if they are open....let's go together!

(I'm afraid this MIGHT mean that I'll be MINI-less soon.....)

Keiki - That's not a good car for you as Levi may want to borrow it when he gets his driver's license. If I had a son, I WOULD NOT let him drive one of those. It will give a whole to meaning to "laying rubber".

So does this mean you'll be HMMC-less too?

I want to test drive several time first....so I really can't say that I'm going to be either MINI or HMMC-less. I really love my MINI...but I was looking at getting a scion before I looked at the MINI a year ago. Back then, I didn't want to ship one to Hawaii because the local Toyota dealerships weren't going to service them. Now that Scion is coming to Hawaii...it is very tempting. My name is on the list just so that I can keep my options open. We'll see.....

keikilee -- let's do it! we've both wanted xBs before we got the MINIs and now owning one is more simple than ever. it's just a few weeks before the Scion dealership is open and ready for business. i've been talking to one of the Servco guys i know to see if i can swing a deal...otherwise, we can always go through my friend who is a manager at a Scion dealership in California or my sister, who works for the GM of Fletcher Jones in Las Vegas.

btw, i went down to servco today and only saw one of them -- i believe it's the dealership demo car. the rest of the cute cars are in hiding but i'm gonna find them!

hmmm....this must mean that the introduction of the Nissan Cube is just around the corner as well

The Scion Xb definately has it's own unique sense of style. Kind of like a Japanese take on what an Albanian SUV would look like. Make it cool with the right tint and wheels.

Vive le Difference!

Your setup sounds like a winner.

Happy hunting!

Where could they be on such a small island?
Rent a helicopter so you can cover area quicker.
Hey that is alot of connections. I wonder if we should get all interested parties together and do a "group buy". I guess that would be a fleet buy.

The extra space is nice for hauling around my race wheels and the xB is smaller and easier to drive than my minivan.

Wait, what about the twin xB order?

Don't tell Erik808 you got turned on to the MCS! Yikes Batman!

My fave is Hot Lava, too! There's just something I love about orange cars. I guess it stems from me owning an orange 325 several years ago. I loved that car....

Hmmmm......the convertible is coming in orange, eh?

I saw a hot lava xb in Kaneohe near Foodland last night while driving home from work at about 8:45 pm. New HI arts license plate with a Huntington Beach frame! Looking pretty good!!!

Hi countrymini...welcome!

mini-t was saying that only 2000 hot lava xb's are going to be sold in the US...so chances are, that's one of the very few we'll have on the island. I hope I get to see one, too!

I wish I could get a regular hardtop MCS in orange! That would be hot...orange with black top and black bonnet stripes! How much do you think it would cost to have an MCS painted?
