In your example there is not enough room for a recon sticker because the new safety sticker was placed in the middle of the plate.

Had the safety sticker been placed on the lowest edge of the plater vertically then there might be enough room for the recon sticker to be placed above the safety sticker. The recon sticker would fit if placed horizontally.

So recon on the top horizontally, safety sticker on the bottom vertically.

The new safety sticker has different dimensions than the old ones, the recon sticker is the same size as one old safety sticker (2 stickers made up the old safety sticker). New safety sticker is one piece.

There are now new metal plates that fit the new safety stickers, check Ron's Performance parts on Nimitz.

Yeh I would of course have the sticker place correctly.

I am either going to get that plate above, thinking she got it from the BMW/mini dealer. Or going to fabricate one and mount it on the rear grill somewhere.

Does Ron have new 3 sticker plate?

Not sure, you can call them and ask.

I have only seen a few of the new plates at another shop, both for just the new sticker, no space for recon sticker on the same plate.

I went to the BMW dealer and they do not sell those plates anymore.

I have an old 3 sticker plate that goes under the bumper. I guess I can fabricate that to mount in the rear grill. Kind of like how the minis have front badges.

Still have till September before my next safety check. Island brakes report my alignment are well in factory specs.
