This is a bit random, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a mechanic or shop that would be able to do brake work on an old 1952 dodge m-37 military style pick-up truck. I have asked around and have not had too much luck. There is a guy in Kailua that said he would consider doing some work, but other than that I am out of luck. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

What kind of help you looking for? Maybe you can try some ex military guys. I see this guy tooling around in a cherry ****** with military painto job on it. He's always wearing BDUs while driving the ******.

I guess I am looking for someone to do some break work and not intimidated by an old military truck. Its funny that a lot of people don't think they can handle it when its one of the most basic vehicles I have come across. I just dont have the facility to work on it b/c i live in an apt and I have a couple screw drivers, pipe wrench, and small socket set. Nothing heavy duty enough to take off the wheels, or even a jack for that matter. I have also no idea how to repack wheel bearings. I am pretty sure I could prob. switch out a master cylinder, but I would need the right tools and a jack/lift. Those ex military guys might be my best bet.
