Thank you, MINIma
MINIma (Judy), my Motoring Advisor, will transfer to Finance within BMW/MINI by the week's end. Congratulations, Judy!!!
When I first set foot in MoH, it was Judy who cheerfully, as always, greeted me. She then spent the next thirty minutes or so explaining the ins and outs of the MINI.
I spent the next two weeks mulling over every detail. It was at this time (Summer '03) that the selection was limited in the CVT. Those two weeks were also spent by me e-mailing Judy with questions (a lot of questions) that probably covered everything MINI-wise. She quickly responded on each occasion.
There was even one point in which I was ready to hastily ditch pursuing a CVT for a stick, due to the small pool of them remaining. Judy knew my need of logging plenty of miles (there's currently 16,100 miles on mine & I drove off the lot on 06/13/03) and immediately put a halt to my request, reiterating to me to be patient. In retrosect, I am very grateful for her stance back then.
Regarding the MINI USA survey, Judy did not prompt me on how/what to reply. She did inform me of the critical nature of it and that its results had a significant impact on the well-being of her livelihood. She was straight-up then and has been since the beginning. I received my survey via e-mail (my marks: position set on the highest).
Since its purchase, I've had additional questions which has brought about the same results -- responses in a timely manner. Judy even coordinated an appointment with "Dr. Vinyl" to have door edges installed. I just showed up, plunked money down, then away I went.
Congratulations again, Judy!!!

I too had MiniMa for my MA and she was very very helpful.
We had to search high and low to find something in stock because 6 months wait was going to be a bit too long for me.
I lucked out with her help.
She never told me how to fill out my MA eval form. We did talk about it- I know the score from other dealerships.
I also learned the other day that he is giving up all the fresh air and friendly faces to move up the ladder and go to finance. I hope there are many smiley numbers to greet you each day and if you need a break you can always walk over the the MINI showroom side.
Thanks a bunch for a very memorable MINI 2003 and best of luck with your new position.
Erik808- they'll need a new MA-want to apply? Don't you want a fourth job?
