Talked to the owner's girlfriend, the mini came from Cali. which the previous owner did some restoration then the present owner finished the restoration and did some extensive customization.
I guess the GF was trying to convince the owner to sell it over a year ago so she can buy a new MINI...now the mini is for sell.

 

I see allots of MINI owner in Hawaii are up this early morning just like me but I got no choice because I am at work right now. Right now is a down time so I have more time on my own by reading the minicooperonline.com and see what you all have to say.

Ken Thom has a sweet Mini Cooper S! That car is in mint condition and I thought that was the car that was showing up this morning. This morning's car needed a lot of work and the owner was probably optimistic about what the car would bring. You can pick up a good daily driver for $5k - $7.5k on the mainland and pristing examples for $12.5k +.

 

Ken has a very very good lookin' late model Mini. I wish I could drag him out of hiding, but he says he's not much on club type events.

Does anyone know if that old orange classic mini got sold or not? I have not seen it around at all.
For Ken Thom's mini cooper S, do you think he'll come out for the British Car club event this summer?

 

I heard that the orange monster got sold.

As for Ken Thom's car it is sweet and I did follow him when I had my CR/W MC as he used to buzz by my office everyday on the way home. In addition to his Cooper S, he has a classic 450sl and a BMW 635csi. Well, at least I think he still has them. I did see him tooling around in a newish Mercedes a while ago.
