i absolutely love my domina. if i could hug her without looking completely ridiculous, i would. picked her up last thursday, and already we've driven tantalus, gone up wilhemina rise using sierra drive, and cruised through hawaii kai and waimanalo just to eat some fried chicken at kj's in kaneohe. we even drove to rocky's in waipahu then headed to the almost-mom-in-law's house in hauula. driving through traffic is no longer a chore.

so far, i've noticed that more MINI drivers don't wave than do wave or somehow acknowledge you back when you do wave (the count right now is ten nonwavers/acknowledgers to two. sorry to say, female MINI drivers are currently statistically guiltier of not waving than males are. thank you to the pw/b coming down alohea on saturday and to the laser blue one on h-1 heading west kinda by pearl city on sunday.

my boyfriend also gives an enthusiastic thumbs up to the red MCS on the H-1, east-bound, before the 6th ave off that was behind him while he was driving my car around 4pm monday afternoon. the red MCS quickly closed the door between it and my domina when a camry tried to force its way in between them without signalling.

Be sure to check with any events the Hawaii MINI Motoring club has going.

Right now it is a new year so they are doing elections next week and meeting over on the windward side for pizza and voting. If you want to meet more owners and see many MINIs they are the group to get with.

The dealership also will sponsor events through the year next one should be for valentine's day- check with your salesman on that. I have not officially heard anything yet but that usually will take place.

 

thx for the welcome! i've already joined HMMC but unfortunately can't make it to the events scheduled so far. since VD falls on a saturday, if there is an event on that day, we'll be bringing domina for sure!
