Aloha Hui,
You are right! I confirmed the time with the host. I will change my original post.
The event for Saturday, Sept. 6th is 12pm. to 2 pm.
They first scheduled the event at that time, changed it, and changed it back!
Confused? Don't be, if you're early you get a better opportunity to register to win. Ask MINI-T and Baronious, seems they scooped some pretty good stuff.
We had another good showing with MINI-T, Baronious, MINIhune, Kohu'ula MINI, Joey, MINI Mike, Louis, Bill, and the Midas MINI. All received gift bags from Bob and Diane, and will be registered for the $100 certificate giveaway. For each event that you attend, you will be entered to win the $100 Midas certificate.(4events=4chances, drawing at the last event.)
Thanks for making this another great showing.
Let's Get Free Midas MINI Shirts!
MINIkahuna
OK, I'll be there from 12-2pm so I hope you don't change it again.
Why does this seem to happen to us at MINI events? Not sure.
Maybe they are just playing around with us to test us.
So if there are any other changes please do let us know and I did correct the time on my posting
earlier as well. At least I know I was not crazy!!!

>>Wahiawa - not too far from MINIlani. I'll try to be there. Shouldn't be a problem as long as I get Lucy B washed up that morning.
LucyB doesn't need to be washed up. With any luck it will be raining as usual. Besides if we always have clean MINIs everyone will think they are automatically clean cars. We know that is untrue. They only look good when clean.
I do my cleaning the night before. That way I can go to sleep happy and so is my MINI.

hmmm...i work literally 2 buildings away and i won't be able to make it this sat cause i'll be off island. ontop of that, i take my p/u there regularly for maintenance work while i'm at work. but since i got my mc i haven't stopped by since it's fairly maintenance-free for a while. first thing i'll probably get done by midas wahiawa is a rotation since i'm at 6k miles already. got a freebie rotation cause i'm a midas club member!
and yes, i'm still planning on selling my sg/b mc. got a few inquiries since putting a 4 sale sign in my window a week ago. in fact, some of you may have heard that i kinda may have stolen a sale away from mini of hawaii when i pulled up in the lot last week...i'll just say that it's still pending.

Stealing a sale? I don't think so, the MC is super hot right now and esp the CVT is selling like hot cakes. They cannot keep up with demand so your rare color MC is really attractive and you should sell high if you can. Keep it in good shape and no worries with finding a good buyer who is impatient. Good luck.
You have about two months then the supply will start to catch up with demand.
Sorry you can't make it this saturday. I roll the dice in your honor and spell out your name.

>>Let's Roll'um!

Hope it doesn't rain.Anyone want to go for bubble-T drinks after the event? Might be full of pizza- save some space.

>>Uhh, how can you roll better than a 30 with 5 dice?
You can roll 5 dice and each one can read 6 for a total of 30 and that is good.
You can roll 5 dice and each one can read the Midas logo for an even better prize. And that is better.
You can come and try out the "jumpy dice" for yourself.
Hey, that is a good name for my MINI. "Jumpy" or "sticky"
Well maybe not.
Five jumps off the table? Maybe so. At least three. I had rolled three just fine when my rolling arm decided it was expert and it didn't take too much to have a bad bounce and out the dice flew. In fact from my perspective the first three looked like they were headed out into space but somehow jumped back in whereas most of the throws that landed out started in the throw zone and then took a "bad" bounce out. They might as well be jumping beans. The throw is about 15 feet away and must come to a rest behind the score line in an open rectangular box area before the count is scored.

Well I just got back from the Midas event. We missed several of our regulars- sorry you could not attend.
I did a poor job and only rolled 19 just like MiniAngel did. I hope she wasn't following me. I did better last week but both of us managed to snag a $25 gift certificate to Indigo restaurant downtown.
Another MINI owner with a DS/DS and MINI logo on the rear window snuck off with the grandprize Vegas weekend for 2. Pretty trick. Plus she got a little DS mini toy with the midas logo on the doors. Neat.
They fixed the edges of the dice throwing ramp so it is now much harder to roll the dice out. So in two weeks we will enjoy the next (3rd) Midas event over at the Dillingham location from 12-2pm on Sept 27, I hope you can attend. Pizzas and drinks again.
I talked to the Midas owners and suggested that their yellow MCS needed some mods so we are thinking about working with Midas to import the great new UUC MCS exhaust Cat back systems. Maybe the yellow Midas MCS can be the first to get one. It is not a difficult install and they are a large company with more resources and 11 locations to help MINI owners with this great MCS upgrade. Maybe we can get a good price- they are very MINI friendly.
