I just wanted to let everyone know about an auto show taking place on Saturday in the Checkers parking lot across from Aloha Stadium. It's not a competition-type show, but more a gathering of enthusiasts to show off their rides. I'm planning on being there and showing off my baby, and hope some other Hawaii MINIs will be there to share the stage!

I got invited by a neighbor who stopped by today to talk about my MINI. She said she'd been sying to ask about it, and since I was out there working on it, she stopped. She actually knew the Mini's past quite well, although she hadn't known that BMW now owns it. She had owned a Morris Mini at one point, and she really loved the new style. But she said she'd love to see some new MINIs at the show.

Anyway, I hope to see some of you there! I'll be there in my MCO shirt. I hope to have a few of you stop by for a quick Aloha!
