[Hawaii] Bad news for Mike W.
I just read that Mike Ward's (fellow MINI owner and MINI racer) custom G35 was stolen last night from SONIC (they customize it and use it for shows).

This car is a one of a kine car... Not hard to Miss it.
The car was stolen at around 2AM last night. Last seen going up Kalihi. Police reports that a Squad car tried to turn around to pull the car over, but it just booked it.

sitting here and thinking about it. How in the hell do you run from the cops when there is no where to really run to?

Sorry, forgot to update. They found the car in PC - stupid stuff stolen but damage cause by removing the items.

Too bad there wasn't some sort of starter disable feature. Did they drive the car out with keys or was it flatbedded out of Sonic?

OK, hope it can be fixed/repaired soon. Better than having to start all over again. Sounds like a theft by non professionals (drug related crime).

I've talked to Mike - What stuff they didn't take they maliciously damaged. He said the car was trashed/destroyed so bad he doesn't know if he'll fix it.

Me too, I thought oh my God, I've been without Sonic all this time and there's one on the island!!! Oh well, we can dream...
