Need to replace the red lower intake cover.

Has anyone ever replaced the lower red intake cover and if so how much work was involved in doing so? Trying to sell my car and I want to be sure everything looks and works as it should. TIA.

You will need to remove the front bumper cover. Pretty easy to do. I can do it in 20 minutes but I've done it about ten times.

For first timers plan on about an hour to remove, a few minutes to replace the duct and an hour to put back on.

I know you can get it from ECS Tuning, but most other forum sponsors like Way Motor Works and also dealers should be able to get it. I'd imagine it's about $20.

Helix has a good video in their website showing how to remove the bumper. Some of the plastic push-in fixing rivets are hard to see if you don't know where they are, like the ones next to the front fender flares by the side marker lights.

Here are links for them separately. More expensive than I thought. The standard blacks ones are only $20.
