Alarm Sensitivity

Okay well I'm starting to think my car is overly scared of being stolen. Most of the times the keys are in it in the driveway or the garage. If I leave it with the windows open in the driveway or in a parking lot with the alarm on and walk by not even close it goes off, sometimes no one will even be near it and it goes off. Like no joke just walking not reaching inside or anything. My old BMWs you would stick your hand inside a bit before it would consider going off. Is my car just paranoid or can the dealer turn the sensitivity down so I can leave my windows open without disabling the motion sensor inside.. thanks!

My GP does the same thing, and I could never have my dogs wait in the car or the alarm would go off. The motion sensors near the bluetooth mic are sensitive. To have your doors look, alarm activate, but turn off the Motion Sensors, just click the lock button twice. You will see the red led strip on the tach blink faster.

I begged my dealer to turn the damn thing off. They wouldn't. How many people get cars stolen these days??
