I really like the look of the GP2 spoiler. So is everyone paying around $2k for these? Only available from the dealer at this point I assume, not including mini genuine parts in the UK.

Muller and I paid about the same. List is $2500.00 and some change. We both got 20% off MSRP. Not sure where he got his, but I bought mine through my selling dealer, Hendrick Mini in Charlotte, NC.

Better start saving my money then. They're definitely expensive but they sure do look good.

Anyone know if there's a place to get the window brackets yet? My dealer is also saying I'd need to replace the entire rear window (and lose the window wiper). I haven't asked, but I assume they wouldn't be willing/able to mfg the bracket themselves.

For second gen cars. I've seen two and they look great. I will be ordering one within the month.

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know I have just installed a GP rear spoiler on to the stock rear hatch of my 2007 Cooper S. I was lucky enough to find a guy breaking a wreaked GP2, he cut the brackets off the glass for me, they are only bonded on. I cleaned them up and bonded them on to my glass and it looks awesome, and I get to keep my rear wiper. I will post some images tomorrow, including images of the brackets. I did not do any drawings, but I am sure they would be fairly simple to copy.

Now to get on with fitting the other GP parts I brought from him only bodywork, missed out on shocks and brakes. Engine and gearbox destroyed, hit a tree at 200 kph :(

Looking for a front aero bumper to finish off the look, only problem is I live in Brisbane, Australia, not many here secondhand and MINI Australia charge a fortune for all parts :(

Im hoping those 2 brackets for the side of the glass are available without the glass.

Did you get your GP wing? I am buying a GP in the next week or so and will be selling my OEM wing. Interested??

Hi Cris,

Yes i see there is an error with the images, I will see what I can do to fix this, may take a little while, as have to find the images again.
I do not have any brackets for sale or know where you would be able to buy them, as far as I know MINI will only sell you the genunine GP wing as a complete assembly including the glass, which is extremly expensive. There a few people out there making reasonable copies of the GP wing whcih would be much more affordable.
Merry Christmas Rob

I bought the GP rear glass with the brackets attached. I had a glass shop heat them up and removed. Then I sanded them and re-shot them with flat black paint since the heating had damaged the finish a bit. Then had them attached to my rear glass with windshield adhesive. I finally had to email the plant manager at Plant Oxford to get the 4 bolts that bolt the wing in place on the brackets. Yes, it was a pain in the ***, but I wanted to do it correctly, and I wanted to retain my rear wipers.

I have a wrecked GP2. I know the wing was damaged beyond repair, not sure if the brackets are still there. I'll have a look next time I am at the garage

I have had an Orranje wing on my 2013 JCW for a couple of years and everyone loves it and questions it. The blokes @ Orranje go out of their way to help you in any way they can (we had a currency exchange problem caused by the bank's security) and these guys cleared it up. Customer service was more than excellent.
Fit & finish of the product is superior and installation was easy, maybe 30=40 minutes.
I would urge you to check them out @ minitorque.com
