The Mini community is second to none and a huge part of the fun of owning one of these cars. Thanks to everyone who offered advice it was much appreciated.
Good choice.

(And I'm a Mustang guy)

There is a little bit of you in all of us. Keep what you have and enjoy it. I tried to trade my Stang last year for JCW. The offer was beyond insulting. It is Procharged, Recaro seats and a ton of performance and appearance mods. 32,000miles and paid for

Thanks. There seems to be a lot of Mustang fans on here. This is a very diverse group, Im seeing all kinds of cool rides listed in peoples sigs. Would it be wrong to list my wifes Mini in my sig. Its not mine but I do wash it .

Fine by me.

Maybe I'll add my wife's mk6 GTI to my sig.

As for the group, I'm new here but can already tell the Mini enthusiasts are genuine driving enthusiasts that appreciate great (sports) cars no matter what the make.

Hopefully you have some nice and curvy roads where you can enjoy your MINI. MINIs are not light-to-light dragsters like those modern muscle cars some of you have (as you're aware). MINIs are quick when they're going. I only have some slight upgrades on my JCW and it breaks a lot of hearts through the mountains here in CO (Porsches, Corvettes, Mustangs, etc). I can only imagine what a GP would do with it's out-of-the-box set up (which is fantastic and a lot better than what I have!).

I am a huge Mustang fan. You're super lucky to own a Boss 302 and a GT500. Of the two, I'd love that naturally-aspirated Boss 302! If I were in your shoes, I'd have sold the GT500 privately, (never trade ANY car in, especially a modded one; you'll never get the true value from a car dealership).

Then I'd get that GP!

I'd love to drink a cold beer in your garage, sir. Good luck.
