Removing Roof Number

Has anyone removed their roof number? Will it damage the sticker underneath it? Will an imprint be leftover?

Thanks

UPDATE

Pulled it off without any issues.

plan on removing it, but haven't had the guts to do it yet.

I'm pretty sure it will damage the vinyl under it.

Probably not. Let it sit in the sun for a while and then start at one corner and work your way across the decal, peeling it back parallel to the roof graphic stripe. That way you won't be lifting the stripe beneath it. Remove any residue with some Goo Gone or Isoprophyl alcohol

Yeah, I am hoping this is the case. I don't want to be the guinea pig though, I am always the guinea pig.
