Bumping up to the 17%?

I know our cars have the 15% pulley stock....I have been toying (as of today) with the idea of going to the 17% pulley. I know a side effect is heat...Anyone think there would be much benefiet in performance?

For the money your spending, I don't think soo. I don't know what your plans are for your car, but I'd look elsewhere for power. Header/exhaust. Just my thoughts.

Who's header if I can ask. I'd really stay away from the pulley. What do you plan for your car? Any track use at all.

going with the alta header. My car will see random track days/drag race nights (I know its not a drag car..but thats no the point) but not competition use. It will mostly be a club rally car, and weekend monster.

If your going to do track days with your car I'd be looking at brakes first and some suspension upgrades. Alta with or without cat?

with cat. I was thinking about changing pads and putting the new JCW cross drilled rotors on the front. Suspension seems to be ok.

Stay far away from drlled rotors for the track. TSW is working on GP frt slotted rotors. I don't know how hard you drive car on the track but one time out at Watkins Glen the frt rotors are toast. Going with a BBK like I had on my 03.

I know a header will take a BIT away from the low end...Do you think the 17% will help make that less existant?

That depends on the header design.
