Well I am looking for any thoughts on why my never modded and only 4k miles wise, GP is now not starting and looks to be spitting gas out the back when trying to turn her over. Help!!!

Anything stopping you from calling MINIUSA roadside assistance and having it towed to the dealer?

I had a similar issue with my last "S" when it was only a few weeks old with less than 500 miles. Turned out to be a fuel pump related issue, however your problem could be something entirely different.

It look them several days on mine as well, as they really had to hunt down the issue. I was surprised it took them so long, to be honest.

Keep us posted!

At this point the only update is that they have changed out the plugs and have been able to get it to at least start but it is running sooooo terrible and they have no idea why so they are going to try to "interview" the owners and see if something in the telling of the first to last of the series of events that led zoegurl into towtruck bondage helps tip them off on where to look next.

Had similiar problem with my S. It wouldn't idle, spitted gargled and just about quit running. I was something to do with computer and I had to wait for dealership to send to england to get my cd for my car. It took less than 10 minutes and runs like a champ now?? There computer would not recoginize my car so and thats the reason for sending for my info? Don't know much about it and from what I understand alot of Mini mechanics don't understand it. Mine did, but apoligized for not being able to read my car. I had it done at Hendrick Mini in Charlotte NC. I did not purchase it there but have been very satisfified with mechanics knowledge of the Mini.

No hoax here...

The car was originally taken to Global and is now at Hank Arron Atlanta.

The owners to this sick little GP are service members and one is deployed over seas. ...The original poster....
The last update I got sounded like Global was comparing apples to oranges and making accusations that a mod was at the root of the problem, BUT no Mod's have been done! So the dealer that sold the car sent a truck to pick her up and I am sure they will figure it all out....

Interesting thing about the computer thooo because they were having some little electrical gremlins in the weeks leading up to the break down.

I recently went through a little coolant leak thing with my 04 MCS JCW and was given an 06 Cabrio to drive while Classic chased down the source and that 06 was having some of the same gremlins in the electrics ....

I wonder ....

Of course the service guys looked at me like I had five heads when I tried to explain it to them....

SAme thing different day

Well Global Mini is clueless...and that is being nice. They accused us of Modding her and then thought the GP intercooler was aftermarket? Hank Aaron Mini has her now and hopefully will be able to figure her out...and of course I am overseas so I cant do anything but worry....

I don't know if you remember me, I had the SB MCS outside the barracks that one day. I'm sure HA will take care of your car and am sorry you're having the difficulties you are with her.

Well Zoe is back with her owner.
I won't tell you everything, I will let the owners take the honors to tell of the horrors they went through.
But the good news is Zoe is back on the road and Mamma's Happy!

Good to know! We will scratch Global off our list since you were treated lousy. This is not the first time I have heard this either. BTW, are you in the armed services?

Ok that's it. Not only you guys consider an MCS a "she" but its a GP!!! PLus yours has my wifes name...too much. I always thought of a car as a he.
(ie: el coche, el carro, el auto). Must be an ESL issue (english as second language).
PS: Congrats with getting "el mini" back on track
