MINIUSA sent a present for my GP

Arrived home today to find a box on my door step from MiniUSA - they sent a car cleaning kit. The kit included soap, rim cleaner, sponge, chamois, and the 'Mini' bucket (the best part)....Nice!

I found one at home waiting for me too! The card with it was pretty funny, explaining that since the GP cannot go through a carwash due to the CF wing, Mini was providing the kit to the owners. No wonder Mini drivers are so loyal.

The best part is free. Well $31500.00 isn't really free. But nice. Check the soap label I think it's a little harsh for paint.

Well, I agree that $31.5K is a bit steep for a bucket and some soap, but it does come with a free car. . . .

Buy a rubbermaid bucket (red) and put a black MINI decal on it and your in business.

We got the same thing as well as lap passes for the Nürburgring.

Once or twice a month during the Summer the local Mini club goes to the track to run laps. They open 13 miles of the track up to the public when there are no races scheduled. Usually the owner of the BMW/Mini dealership here shows up with his 300hp carbon bodied monster and gives free rides to anyone brave enough to ride with him. Those 13 miles go by pretty quick when Herr Shaefer's at the wheel!

Ditto! Got mine yesterday.

Better late than never. Couldn't they have included the GP floor mats too?

Maybe too much to ask.

I got one of the these a few days ago as well. I thought it was a great gift. And as far as Mini doing more or less than this.......I have a brand new BMW M-Coupe and have yet to get anything like this from BMW (and they make Mini's).

I didn't sign up for anything, it just showe up - maybe you could send a note to MiniUSA - did you move? How long ago did you get your GP? (mine came about a month after I got my car)

PS: There are guys on the GP forum over on GPmini.net stating they just got theirs and they purchased their car in October.. so it sounds like Mini is getting around to everyone.. so hang in there dude.
