So I ordered a european tag and wanted to know how others here have mounted theirs. I got a tag for my '06 M-coupe and didn't care for the one they sent along with it, so I ordered the one from BMW (see here). I'll obviously get the same mount since I ordered from the same place, so I would like to find an alternative to that one. Anyway....if you have pics of yours, I'd like to see it.

I ordered a Euro plate and plate holder from these guys:

The website has a "platemaker" feature that lets you preview the custom plate. I got the basic black holder which is a nice quality plastic piece made in Germany. I drilled out the 2 upper, outermost embossed mounting holes on the GP, used 2 screws that came with the car's US front plate adapter, and it turned out like this:
