VIN doesn't come up on Carfax, but I don't know if carfax has vins for cars that haven't been sold.
But they do have port records on used MINIs when you do the Carfax.

$45k , reserve not met . no bids- wonder why...

Roof number 0610 but I don't think it's in USA yet.
Don't believe the mileage; all the GPs delivered so far have had 5-20 miles on them.

The pics are stock images from press releases.

I hope this guy totally fails in his bid to screw someone :(

I guess there was never an intent on owning that car. I hate people like that. My wife was involved in another, abate less expensive hobby, where people from outside the scene would buy up limited edition items just so they can make a buck. Normally I am all for making the profit, but these bastards were doing it at an expense of little kids. Same story here, if it's true. This dičk is doing it at an expense of someone who would actually love to own that car and can only afford the sticker. Damn shame.

In all honesty, GP0223 is availlable for that kind of dough. I absolutely love my car but I love my family more and would be stupid to walk on that kind of profit. I didn't buy it for that reason but I'll obviously have to sell it someday...

That said, MINI has cancelled the orders of many folks trying to sell slots. Don't hold your breath on that sale gang. And in the meantime I am loving driving my GP.

Motor On!

GP 00142 could be on sale for $44,994 !!!!!! and I can deliver it !!

At the Dragon this past May, I met one of the MINI - NAM vendors , who should stay nameless, who offered me his GP slot (he said he had three slots from different dealers) for $5,000.00. My GyPsy was already on order so I did not care for his deal... but I will never deal with this vendor as I find ripping off the MINI community (from which he makes money ) pretty low..

Mini cannot cancel orders to people trying to sell cars over sticker. Dealerships and customers are allowed to sell MINI's at whatever price they want. It is in the franchise agreement. Now the individual dealer can cancel a customers order because the dealer can pretty much do anything that they want... so as long as its not illegal or discriminatory or completly unethical

Mini cannot cancel orders to people trying to sell cars over sticker.

The agreement is bwt dealer and the prospect owner (who put down his/her deposit to purchase a MINI) Particulary for the GPs paperwork needs to be done in advance therefore if the person holding a spot doesn't purchase the GP the dealer has all the rights to void the agreement.

In anycase if a dealership has a cancellation I will be happy to purchase another GP for our household.. but I will not pay extra money for someone else's spot.
