I heard no, unless you actually have a GP and need it fixed.

Unfortunately, as already said, no GP parts for you (unless you can prove you own a GP).

If you can talk a parts counter in to selling you a GP wing, it will be around $2000. And since you'll lose your third brake-light you'll need to find a GP style rear hatch as well. Then add paint and all the various fittings and you'll probably talking 4-5k.

Yes they, but you should stay in the city, or you could meet Mr. shotgun.

You can get the GP parts at any dealer with a GP vin, wether you own the car or not.

All they need is a vin to enter into the computer to finish the sale.

I did this last year when collecting parts for my MC40 MC.

I have seen a ton of coopers with s-lites on them so what difference would it be in putting Gp wheels on.

Its your car put what you like and dont sweat the haters, just dont put GP badging on the car

Don't forget you also need to add in the hatch glass too... It's actually shaped differently than the normal MCS hatch glass in order to accomodate the mounting braces for the rear wing.

Even if you bought those GP wheels wouldn't you need the proper nuts and brake holes to install these with the larger nut holes?

Nope, holes and spacing, including bolt length is the same. I ran the GP wheels on our Cabrio for a week, no problems. Looked better on the Cabrio than on the GP.

This is the main reason I'm considering a wheel change. I love the s-lites, but they're everywhere.

I think those GP wheels would look pretty hot on my PS car. Although I'm not a person to pose as another car.

It will take a very daring dealer to this. They are asking for proof (pics, etc) of the damaged part in need of replacement. Besides, it probably wouldn't be very wise to give out your GP VIN. Could you imagine how many times that VIN would be used to order parts (all over the country)? I'm sure it would become obvious very quickly.
BTW-anyone know where I can get ahold of the rear seat delete (the one used in the GP)?
