GP 1655 for sale

GP #1655 is now for sale on BaT. Some question on what minor damage entailed but overall a very nice original driver.

Any thoughts on where it will land?

Here's the link to the BAT auction if anyone was curious.

With the accident history and softening market, I doubt this will get past the mid 20s.

Pretty impressive he put 14k miles on the car in a years time. That tells you how much fun these are to drive.

Mine just crossed over 10k today

Looks like pretty stock other then the racing dynamics STB. The cup holder is missing and GP for mats. Does look like it has the car cover that we just sold the last of.

To me!

Maybe a shade more than I wanted to spend but I’m saving on transport vs the last few I’ve been eyeing. Spoke with the seller and previous owner was a 70 yo Porsche mechanic with four other r53s, so I trust this one is well sorted with some preventative work done, to boot.

Looking forward to the jump from my ‘05 S which was recently totaled (while I was at a dead stop, hit by someone looking at their GPS at 5mph.)

Well, Karl the Fog has been hanging out recently, so this will have to do for now. I can't believe the jump from my '05 S to the GP in terms of...everything. I was nervous I made an unnecessary purchase. I did. But I'm not worried any more. This car is *chef's kiss* and I've only had wet roads so far!

Congrats on the GP! I'm jealous you have those roads to motor on! I rented a Jag F-Type and drove up through the mountains for a day last time I was in SF, but would rather have had the GP!

Can confirm NorCal has the right roads for the GP! Today I got fresh oil + full inspection so I finally felt comfortable pushing her a little around Mt. Tamalpais/Muir Woods. Unbelievably planted and rips out of corners. Also found out the car has a 2% overdrive crank pulley that I wasn't aware of (+braided brake lines & Black Series control arm bushings). Supercharger definitely sings. I'll post a new photo once my black plates come in

Mt. Tamalpais overlooking Stinson Beach.
