Tire Mobility Set

Ordered new tires 205/40/18 Yokohama S.drive no more runflats! so looking to get a MINI mobility kit called my dealer and they can get it $151.00 seems expensive anyone know where I could get it for less? also I bought the tires from tire rack and had the tires shipped to a Recommended Installer and they are going to charge me $200 to mount and balance is this expensive?

Depending on were you live 200.00 is not to expensive for mount and balance, most places charge by the rim size.
As far as a kit, many auto stores sell a kit with a compressor, for about 30 bucks. You can also get a can of fix a flat, and or a tire plug kit for way less then 151.00

I purchased a kit with a small compressor and tire slime (sealant). The kits can be found at local auto parts stores or stores such as WalMart/Target. I believe the compressor/tire sealant kit was about $40. I also purchased (online) a tire plug kit for about $40.

200.00 is outrageous. I have been using tirreack for years. My local tire shop charges 15.00 a corner for a total of $60.00. Shop around.

Somewhere around $100 would be reasonable if it includes mount, balance, weights, and state fees. Maybe for $200 they are also providing some type of extended warranty.

Tirerack has recommended installers on their website. Their prices are included in the info. I paid $66 for 4 tires at the local Goodyear store.

Tirerack sells a mobility set. Continental I think.
