6k stereo, yeah, I also wonder what in the world could cost that much.

I asked him what the reserve was - didn't directly respond, but said he would "probably lower it". Mentioned he's seen cars go for 24-30k, so I'm guessing he put a 28k reserve on.

If the stereo is really that nice, and everything's mint - 24k seems like a nice price, eh?

Depending on what components are used 6k is not that hard to meet or exceed. This was part of what I used to have in my car before I decided to make some changes and pull it all out . Between what you see here , the upgrade of the standard speakers thruout , a dvd playing head unit and some sound deadening the final cost was well beyond 6k.

The GP sound is so terrible. My last car had MB quart speakers and JL subs and amps. The GP is the complete opposite end of the spectrum I'd love to do a nice system in it.

1207 has got an Alpine deck (behind face cd) with Ipod in the glove box with full steering wheel controls and Ipod readout on the deck face. Two JL Audio Amps in the back and a JL Audio "stealth box" sub whoofer. The door speakers are MB Quart separates, with another pair of MB Quart's in the back.
