Knock sensor
Not on either Mini I have owned. On my GP, I have the JCW intake box with Mini Madness filter and the trap door removed. No codes yet. Is the ITG filter installed in the JCW intake box? I sure would not think that a little increased noise from air intake would set off a knock sensor code.
However, on my 1995 Camaro Z28 (LT1 engine) I know that increased engine noise can cause the knock sensor to think detonation is occurring and thus retard the timing. When we added headers we had to change the sensor module so that it was less sensitive to engine noises. However, that car is ODB-I so no code was ever set off.

It is in the JCW box. I did not do the flap mod. So far so good I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really do not want to drive it tooo lean

I just read in another NAM post that P0326 can also be set off by low fuel pressure and that a loose gas cap can trigger a low fuel pressure indication. Maybe your gas cap was just a little loose and it had nothing to do with the knock sensor.
However, there are also a few posts in the NAM Gen 1 Stock Problems/Issues forum about bad knock sensors.
