Well, the missing wing is like 3 grand, so you'll need that.
New GP intercooler 8-9 hundred same for 2 GP wheels.

On second thought, no more than $4000.

Looks like it could be a faux GP

The lack of badging on the boot and dash and those headlights make me very suspicious of it's authenticity.

And those GP Decals on the roof can be had at MINI Pirate.

IMHO, it's a JCW that has been face lifted to look like a GP....ie a POSER!

1+ that would explain the orange peal also.

BTW: dose any1 know of somewhere to check how many GP's were imported to different country's ?

It does have correct speedo color. IMO it is a GP that has had a headlight change. Go to GPMIMI.net and there is a list of how many went where. Also look at the paint under hood and in damaged areas, this is not a color change.

I asked about the headlight he changed it when he ordered the car. Here the dealer can do it for you.

I wouldn't want to drive that even if it was fixed, I just wouldn't trust it.

Regarding the price, how much was a GP new in Turkey? Perhaps that would help justify what he's asking for it now.

Bring some of those dealer technicians stateside for some conversions!

Can this dealer modification be confirmed anywhere?

It is not a stateside. Here in Turkey the dealer always offer you to get xenon headelight.

I don't know exactly how much is the new. Otherwise the 2nd hand about 28K to 31K Euro ($36-40K). Miles from 9K to 16K

GP's are going for $23,000 and up in the US. Would not be worth fixing over here.

I know the car is not stateside. I meant MINIUSA should bring over some of those technicians that know how to do the conversion, because AFAIK they don't offer it here.

In EU, the buyer could customized her/his GP so some extras in this GP are possible. Does have HK stereo, too?

So very very sad to see a GP in those conditions !!

I would only pay 17k if it were rebuilt with a clean title, 14 w/ salvage, and 5 k for the heap as it is.

Idea of the pending cost of this. I have a 2005 justacooper and was in a very low speed minor bumper bash. ~$5,000 just for the bumper repair plus roof refinish. So that X like 30 and that may be the cost to repair this. Oh another MINI I know of had a slow impact that set the airbags off that cost ~$7,000. So just the bumper roof and airbags is going to cost at least $10,000.

It looks like a minor blemish, I am sure it could be buffed out.

I would agree it's pretty far gone and the asking price is a bit silly... but it depends on a few factors... what GP's sell for in Turkey... and what the parts and labor rates would be... You'd need to find a really good shop to get everythign even close to straight again...

If you really want a GP, I would think you could probably buy one from another country and import it into Turkey for less...

It just isn't feasible to fix this car, the amount of labor and parts needed would be astounding, I HIGHLY doubt this car will ever drive the same too
