Theres is no way to give a real value.. there is not a $ add in any of the car quides, Value above what a JCW option for option in the KBB will be up to the individual who whats it. Most that have sold appear to still be in the very high 20k range. Now that Bertone has filed for protection, or may actually be close by now, will only hold and eventually increase value. My 2 cents.

I'm currently selling mine for 32K, only because I have several thousands in extras on it, the miles are low (14K), and the car is pristine. I'm in no immediate hurry to sell it, so I figured I would see what the market can bear right now. I'm not seeing too many up for sale in the past couple of months, so I would pull the trigger if it's what you are looking for. More and more seem to be heading overseas as well...

i read something a while ago, either by nada or something like that, that states that gp values have started to creep up. so, especially for a low mileage pristine one, i'd expect it to be worth near or upwards of 30k, and 27~28k would be a decent deal to me. if i bought one tho, i wouldn't be able to keep the miles down

Would you think that cosmetic mods, aero kits, graphics, changes to the appearance of the car would hurt the value, help the value, or have no effect?

Hurt the value if it could not be put back to stock or the parts replaced were not included in the deal. Any custom graphics as long as they could be removed no problem. Paint work other than original would lower value as well. My 2 cents

It's always worth consulting the NAM guide to pricing your MINI for sale, found here http://tinyurl.com/NAMguide

Lots of folks here use this when trying to sell their MINIs; when buying, scale back the price a little bit. Good luck.

I have looked at the NADA, KBB, CPI and black book, and nothing on GPs yet. the good and bad. Good being if you find one on a dealer lot ( ie: honda, toyota, bmw ect) I will be nothing more than a 06Cooper S with JCW kit. Dealer will buy it for such.. so if you know how to deal, you can get it for a great price. Bad side, if you decide to trade one in, same as above applies. Its just a car... SOOoooo as of now, it how bad do you want one.. what will you pay....But remember, some day you may want to sell it.. thats where the gamble comes in to play

Edmunds is good for research. Unfortunatly, when it comes to values used by dealers, wholesalers, bank for loan value. Edmunds is not a true value guide. It is one of the best ways to find New car values and close to dealers costs... But once again, True value come to.. How bad does some one want a perticular car.... Value is in the eye of the beholder.... Oh yea, and how much you get in your pocket on the day of the sale....

They way I see if you get it for edmunds price you did good. KBB is bloated and nada is even worse. Edmunds is the most realistic.

Not to debate.. was just speaking from having had a wholesalers licence for 13 years...spending many hours at auctions, dealers, ect... to each their own. All the quides have their individual purpose. But when in the business, Ill use what they use.. Edmunds is good though.
