The GP Install instructions for the Schroth Racing Harnesses

I just did the install on my GP and boy what a project.
Here are the instructions

*First you need to take the carpet off

*Second, take the aluminum bar out(To get the rubber pieces off you need to turn it conterclockwise and the should pop off)

* Third, you need to take the Red panels off (beware that when you take these panels off the darels that clip in will break but no worries you need to get Loctite Apoxy 5min and glue them back for the red panel to go back on)

*Fourth take the foam piece out and now find the hole that you connect the metal buckle and unscrew that bult and connect

*Fifth, where you connect the buckle clip in the center remove that metal strip, you will need a flat screw-diver to get it off, there you will find a hole.

*Sixth you will need to get under the car so you will need a jack. When the car is jacked up you will need to remove the heat shield where the exhaust splits. Now the hardest part that might take a half an hour that hole is above the gas tank so if you have small hands, that will be key. So when you find the hole tell your friend to put the seat beat piece with the bolt in it, now put the nut on and tell him to screw it in hopefully it will work and now you will need to get a wrench that fits that nut and try to get it up there so you can tighten it really good, when thats done, you are almost finished.

*seventh, cut the foam peice to fit the buckle and the other strap

*eighth, the locktite you will buy will be your best friend, this might sound bad but GLUE the red panels back on and make sure you put preasure on the panels for 10 min.

*ninth, you wil need to put that aluminum bar back if you want.

*Tenth, you are done unless you want to put the carpet back in and it will need some custom work(I will post picks)

I WILL POST PICKS ON SUNDAY OF THE FINISHED JOB AND ALSO I WILL BE AT MORRISTOWN MINIS CLUBMAN EVENT!!!!!

Couldn't you take the complete rear panels off (red & grey), to avoid the red part being broken off from the rest of the panel?
