That's the first thing I noticed. I park the same way when possible.

I park like that too. It looks like he is REALLY close to that wall, wonder if he had to crawl out the boot or the passenger side?

Hey Taylor, that was a really nice GP we saw that day! Welcome to NAM!

I park like that too, I try to park on the edge spots and park as close to the side as possible, or usually i'll park by another MINI if the spot looks safe!

How do you get out of the car when it's so close to the wall?

Hello to itstaylor1 and Alpha Motoring,
It is I, Jack, owner of GP 0885 who visited Ikea on this day and parked within an inch of the wall.
BTW, to answer the question, I did have to crawl out the passenger side... I am 6'4" and 180 pounds, just lift the steering wheel and you can get out on passenger side with ease...
If its any consolation to you tshubin, your plate is the first one I have seen with that quote. I made mine after watching the Austin Powers flick with the MINI..

Great thread, great pics, beautiful GP... but I'm now moving this thread to the GP forum where it rightly deserves to be.
