why don't you be the first to do the swap? All you have to do is take your whole hatch off of your gp and I'll that my hatch off and we can shipp them to each other Hell, I'll even have my hatch painted to the gp color at the bmw body shop at no charge if you do the swap

 

probably no difference on the street except for small increase in gas mileage.

on the track, you'd be sorry in high-speed sweepers, but if you are considering this, you aren't on the track.

in general, cars tend to understeer more at low speeds and oversteer more at high speeds. this is a huge generalization, but oversteering at very high speeds is undesireable for your average track junky.

Prob not a good Idea. I believe the glass is cut for the wing, so you would have to at least change the glass, most likely the whole hatch

 

Definitely in need of an entire hatch swap...

That is the best idea I have heard, it would look so incredibly awsome, visually stunning, absolutley jawdropping and lose even more weight on that GP!!! I say GO FOR IT!!!! If you do this you have to post pics to mesmorize us with asap....And let me get first dibs on the wing.

 

I saw one cruising in Scottsdale AZ last week and it was quite the looker. I love the look of the car. You can get away with more aggressive styling cues with these cars. The DTM style spoiler really sets it off.

I bet if you did do this and sold your GP hatch with the wing you could be atleast $1500 richer. I think that Brian White paid something like 3k to get the GP Wing Hatch combo on his Mini.
