Owners Manual "Errors"

I am an avid supporter of the proposition that the owner's manual exists for a reason. Therefore, I'm less than thrilled when what is in the manual doesn't match reality. So far, I have found 3 such instances in the 2007 manual:

1. The manual says there is a button above the rocker switches for windshield heating. In fact, there is a dummy switch there and no such option is available (in the US anyway).
2. In several locations, the manual states the MCS has a 13.2 gal. gas tank and the MC 10.8. In reality (according to my MA as well as posts in NAM) they both have 13.2 gal tanks.
3. The manual says the auto-on headlight feature can be user adjusted to one of 3 settings. There is actually no user available option on the car, however.

Anyone else?

My manual says Hill Start Assist is part of the DSC and I have it. Do you have DSC? I might add, it feels kind of weird.

Actually, upon re-reading the manual, it says Hill Start Assist is part of both systems. It only holds for 2 seconds. Are you sure you don't have it? If not, I'd have the dealer look at it.

LynnEl - have you communicated the detected errors to MINIUSA yet? I don't know if it will apply in this case, but I remember as a kid in High School the textbook manufacturers would actually pay us (gift certificates, free stuff, recognition, movie passes, etc.) to find legitimate errors in the print so that they could correct them for subsequent editions/print runs.
