My wife was recently in an accident in her Cool Blue 05 MCc. She's ok but the MINI, not so much - I think the worst part is that the rental company gave her a PT Cruiser to drive while the reparis are completed.

Damage includes the driver side mirror, front bumper (aero) and the hood. The bill is $3900.00. Oh yeah, that includes clear bra replacement too. I'm curious what the difference would be if she had non-mettalic paint?

This made me wonder what other people are paying for their damaged MINIs. Has your MINI been involve in an accident? Describe the damage and let us know what the cost was.

That price sounds about right for cars in general, since $1000 in auto body repair is somewhat equivalent to getting a haircut on a person.

 

8k, new roof, new bonnet, fixed front bumper and drivers side a-panel. replaced winshield.

That sounds right to me. I've been through 3 accidents in 2 MINIs. I'd say very little difference with a different color. Headlight replacement? My last one was $3700 for front bumper, hood, one headlight and all related paints and labor.

 

First: glad your wife is okay.

For me repairs were a new door on driver's side, new window, and remove dent between door and rear wheel. Total bill was just under $3400. Gromit is Hot Orange, so we had metallic paint.
