If and when I get my car (yes, it will be a cold day in heck, it will rain in the middle of the Sahara, and turtles will fly), I wil be lower than that. My top speed to work is 40MPH. Too many police cars between home and work to violate that. Most of the 2.2 miles I drive is 35MPH. With one stop sign, and 5 traffic lights to go through, I would be surprised to beat 10MPH on average.

Yeahm yeah, I dunt(tm) have my car and probably should not have responded, but it adds to my post count, I am bored, I want my Mini!, and I am just a little bit nuts. ARRRRRGGGHHHH!

I saw a turtle fly once. And on a trip back from Indiana to NJ, my trip computer (in my 2003 Benz) showed an average MPH of 84, which included 1 fuel stop. Somehow, I expect my daily commute to register somewhat less.

I hear you about the commute. I drive 15 miles each way and its stoplights and stop and go traffic 3/4's of the way. My only saving grace is I have about 3 miles of very fun twisties to practice on coming into work and going home

Skuzzy....Turtles will fly and the rain will fall and you WILL have your MINI soon!!!

Mine is anywhere from 25-30 MPH. My driving is mostly 25-50 MPH with the occasional two-hour freeway drive.

LOL Gromit801!

I know mine will get here. I am just whining. Pay no heed to the whiner lest he whine more.

Ok,...yesterday was some kind of Buddah Zen thing, and today I am wrought with overtones of Shakespear mixed with Freud. Man, that car better get here soon before I completely lose it.

Ohhh.... "In before the lock" I suppose it's because of the speed. But, my computer could have been wrong. After all, CR says Mercedes electronics are unreliable.

IB4TL = In Before The Lock

If you'll note the highlighted portions above, it will probably become apparent why a moderator lock on this thread is (jokingly) expected.

I noted the highlight. I noted the acronym. I then noted my wrinkled forehead as I tried desparately to figure out what it meant. I then made a post in jest and confusion. I then was followed by another confused poster.

OY! Who the heck is following me!!?!?!?! I need to get some sun and fresh air.

EDIT: If this post makes any sense to you, then you are one step ahead of me and not following me, so you are good to go.

Maybe. Or maybe they'd just kidnap you and take you on a road trip.

At the speed you go, they'd never get back home!

or you posted a balatant disregard for the speed limit!

Do people pay attention when they register anymore? Posts like that can not oonly get NAM shut down but also set a bad rep for us as well.

Hence I won't be posting any average speeds.
