Im wanting to get a front euro plate for my MC but where do I get one? Also, I don't really want to drill holes in my MC, so how does it mount? thanks!

I think the only way to get euro plates on the car is to drill holes. I wanted to get Euro plates but I didn't want to drill holes, so I didn't end up getting them!

There are several places to get them. Mine came from here.

The normal way to mount them requires drilling holes, but you might be able to come up with some other way if you really want to have it displayed.

You will have to drill holes. This is the place I have used.

You do not have to drill any holes if you get the correct bracket. I got my bracket and custom plate from here:

http://www.licenseplates.tv/product_..._id/2051#lpgen

Here's the link to the universal bracket:

http://www.licenseplates.tv/european...p#black_anchor

I've had it on my ride for nearly 2 years and it is still holding on just fine.

What a coincidence, I just finished mounting my German plate on the front today. Only 2 non-visible holes drilled.

Full story and instuctions here >>

Mine is mounted with automotive double-sided tape. It's been on for over a year and still mounted securely. If I decide I don't want it anymore, I just have to remove it and get the tape residue off. I got my plate at a kiosk at the local mall for about $20.00.

How did you mount the bracket to your car without drilling holes in the bumper cover?

When I bought my Mini, the dealer had the paper plates already on there, so I assumed they already came drilled. I just used the two existing holes. Maybe here in California they prepare them to have a plate.

www.griotsgarage.com has them and for the plate and mounting bracket its about $60.00 and the plate can be customized to YOUR specs, so if you've got a cool vanity plate in the rear, here's your chance to match it up. It even comes with authentic tags too. If you can't find it call them up and ask about it, real cool product

Got my Europlate as a Christmas gift. It was purchased here:

EUROPLATE

I attached the black frame to my Cooper Cabrio using black zip ties. Then you just pop the plate in the frame. It has been on there since Christmas and hasn't budged.

The easiest way to install the Euro plate is to find one that comes with a mounting bracket. It may cost a little more, but you don't have to drill, tape, or screw. I used coopersport.com to get mine. Lots of good stuff there, the Xenon Interior lights are nice too.

I just did a search for Euro plates on google and found a place that will do GB custom ones.
This site will do GB plates, inexpensive too.

The site below does them too, and you see how it will look before you order it. They also sell the mounting frame. I used that frame to attach my plate through the lower grill on my Cooper Cabrio using black zip ties.

You can't replace the state plates with the euro style if that is what you are thinking. It would be a very quick way to get pulled over...

Here is mine. It was mounted by MINI (here in Germany).

Another vote for double-sided tape here. 3M brand, STICKY stuff.

I YANKED on this thing and it's not going anywhere. It's so strong that it has bowed the plate and bracket to follow the the slight contour of the bumper so the ends don't stick out like ears.

Bumper stays nice and intact.

You can always get the tow hook front plate. I can't remember where it was from.

I'm also interested in a europlate without drilling holes -- i checked GoMiniGo -- and they mount it on the side.. could I mount it in the middle?

Are there any other countries at other sites other than European ones?

The tow hook mount license plate holder is for your US plate..for those who have to have a front plate. The Euro plate needs to go in the middle, but you have to drill new holes for the holder to fit. I've never thought about putting it on the side

I want a europlate too! they look great.... just wondering though, for all you double-sided tape users... do you still by a frame if you're using the tape? or do you just use the plate?

As you can see in my sig I have a frame. You tape the frame to the car and then you just click in the plate to the frame. Easier for cleaning or swapping plates, plus it looks more finished while protecting the plate from bent corners and such if you bump into it.
