actually I am in Denver Co. Thats why I was asking someone to check out the one in NJ for me. Thank you very much for your offer again. Please keep a lookout for me for a 2005 EB/W with the said options, there will be a finders fee.

Cheers

I don't have DSC or Xenons in my '05 MCS, but then again I live in Florida. I personally don't think either are a must. I agree with others about taking driving school. Car safety begins and ends with the driver, not the electronic aides.

My vote is for that first '05 MCS that you saw in NJ. I would go for that car like no body's business.

Also, I have a 4 month old baby boy and we are a 2 MINI household. My wife drives a '02 MC CVT which we bought new nearly 5 years ago. She drove the car throught her pregnancy with no problems. We even took a long roadtrip from Miami to Nashville in my MCS at the end of her first trimester. We even did the whole dragon on the way back. Again no problems.

My boy was brought home from the hospital in the back of her '02 MC. he loves to motor ever since!

One of the coolest memories you can give your kids is to cart them around in a MINI Cooper. When they grow up they'll remember that! How many kids from our generation will tell their own children that Grandma and Grandpa used to drive MINI coopers? Not many!

If you have any questions regarding baby gear that works well with the MINI, feel free to ask.

Good choice. My baby and I motor in the IB/W everyday. I have DSC and Xenons, and yep - I wouldn't trade them...

When you take it to the track, disable the DSC.

You've already answered your own question. If you feel your driving needs such electronic nannies, well yes you do.

automatic or standard

Are you looking for an Automatic or standard. There was an Automatic with leather, with the zeons and DSC. Car is in Denver. 06 MSC. I don't know if it is still available. If interested, let me know and I can send you the guys phone number. I am out of town and it would be tomorrow (sunday) before I am sure if I still have the phone number. Car is silver.

since you know *exactly* what you want, did you consider going thru a car broker? it won't be as cheap as finding a car off the forum but would save you some time and work. there's a used mini dealer here in santa monica that supposedly can find whatever car you want
