The price we pay for basic parts varies from dealer to dealer, sometimes by quite a bit.

Today I'm looking for the following:

• 31356757146 - 22.5mm rubber mounting, quantity = 2

Ground Rules

• Must get pricing for the sway bar and the rubber mounts
• Must post name of dealership
• If dealership is inside california you can add 8% of the cost to your total
• If dealership is outside Los Angeles, you can add shipping to Los Angeles. If the dealership won't quote you shipping you may add $20 to the cost.
• Total price = (Bar Price + 2x Price for mounts) * 1.08 (if tax applies) + Shipping

• Classic MINI | $59.80 (NAM price) | $10 each (NAM discount) | Tax = $0 | Shipping = $20/25 | TOTAL = $100-$105
• South Bay MINI | $74.75 | $12.50 each | Tax = $8 | Shipping = $0 | Total = ~$108
• Long Beach MINI | $109 | $22.13 each | Tax = $12 | Shipping = $0 | Total = ~$165
  
• East Bay MINI | $116.61 | $22 each | Tax = $12 | Shipping = ~$20 | Total = ~$182

Universal City MINI may be hard to beat, considering they are already charging nearly twice as much as Classic MINI and South Bay MINI.

Those prices @ Uni MINI are outta hand. That is kinda disgusting that they charge almost double what SB MINI charges. Almost worth the drive to south bay.

FWIW I checked getting an iPod cable installed there. They were going to charge 300 for labor, and $150 for the part. I almost puked on Kelly's shoes when he told me that. So I settled on the $40 aux input and installed it myself. It felt really good to spend that $410 on what it was intended to be spent on BEER & TOYS !!!!!!!
