A body at the moment, but it will have nothing in it after it gets dark here.

Since I traded in my Subie for a MINI, I have to store a lot less back there now (wagon to cabrio):

can of fix a flat
jump cables
tool kit / safety glasses / gloves
blanket
air compressor
snow brush / ice scraper

MINI jack kit, 12V compressor, and my work safety gear (hard hat, Hi-Viz vest, steel-toed rubber boots). In the side pocket is a day-glo poncho, gloves, and another MINI tool kit.

A Peavey pro 16 channel audio mixer I'm about to put on Ebay. It BARELY fit in the convert's boot without putting the seats down!

jack/tool kit
canvas bin with some wrenches in it, microfiber towel, detailing brush (duster)
light jacket
homemade quilt

Sounds like a lot but it all fits inside the little canvas bin except the quilt, which gets used and just tossed back in.

Right now it's a little more loaded than normal...

The usual stuff:
-MINI Jack kit
-slime smart spare kit (no runflats)
-Endurance AC adapter
-camera mount
-Atlas
-clipboard for work
-down blanket
-microfiber rag
-windshield wiper air deflector (bought aftermarket wiper blades that won't fit the deflector)

Not the usual stuff:
-one pair of nice boots
-one pair of dress pants (don't ask)
-pair of half chaps (for riding horses)
-riding helmet and gloves
-fleece hat, scarf, and gloves (all for work)
-travel coffee mug

*needs to go clean car out*

Whats in my boot

Hello all!

I thought I would share with you guys what I carry in my boot.

Seeing as how I just obtained my Mini about a week and a half ago, its not exactly as organized as I would like it to be. I am the owner of a 2002 MC, pure silver color, sports package.

Currently in my boot I have:

cargo "boot box" with 3 compartments. In the compartments I have a small box of laytex gloves, a rag, folders for work a 1/2 empty box (12pack size) of Cheerwine soda, equipment for my iPod old and unread mail, my tennis shoes, a backpack with change of clothes for work... and.....ummm.... I think thats it for the boot box.

In the left side compartment "cubby" I have a cheap extremely basic 1st aid kit, which I am fixing to upgrade to something to where I can actually use it considering I am an EMT. The items in the el-cheapo wal-mart first aid kit are a let down seeing as I have been an EMT for about 5 years now.

I plan on cleaning out the boot box, building me a REAL first aid kit/jump bag with the proper equipment in it, and a few other things.

It aint in my MINI yet, cause it hasn't been delivered, but in my present car's boot, I have a cardboard box which has jumper cables, 3 quarts of oil, a rage, a roll of paper towels and an ice scrapper. There are also 2 very old newspapers, which I took off my driveway and threw in the trunk about a year or so ago and haven't gotten around to putting in the recycling bin. BTW, I don't count the jack and tools because, technically, they are in a compartment under the boot.

Well, I currently have a Graco, and it's in there by putting back seat driver side down, and laying it half in the boot, half on the folded down seat. But since he is getting bigger and doesn't need the travel system anymore, I am going to get a Peg Perego Aria. I've been told numerous times on these forums that that one actually fits in the boot!
