Your Fantasy MINI

My friend and I went to go to crevier mini in santa ana california, and just decided to check out some mini's. hhaa (hopefully i'll get my mini sometime soon so :D), we went to see if they where open, so we could check out some of the mini's. they weren't haha. so we decided to just walk around looking at their inventory. dang, did i see some nice mini's haha. my friend and i were walkingn around having eyegasms as we saw beautiful mini's all around us, with various options haha. but no mini actually did satisfy us as our dream mini. so it got me thinking, what would be the people on nam's favorite mini haha.

what my favorite would be: 05 mcs, (or the newest one i could get) space blue, with the white bonnett stripes. Exterior Mods: just the aero kit, and driving lamps, maybe with some new rims.
interior: park lane seats (oh those look soo elegant and comfortable), navi system, the new 07' center concole as well as the push start, and sports, comfort, and premium package. and also the seven dash. hahaha (i'm sure their are more thigns on my mind but those are so far the only things that come to my mind. hahah just a fun story haha

ps: hopefully next time i go, i'll walk out with the mini of my dreams haha. also how would you order the parklane seats. i don't see an option in buying them at miniusa.com haha. i'm kinda new to cars.

Park Lane seats, you say?

Do you mean like the ones in this Mini...

If so they were an option for the 2006 coupes. A similar style seat is offered in the 2007 coupes as well. But while the 2006 version was available only in black, the new Mini offers the pleated, piped interior in both black and a kind of brick red.

I've got the MINI... I'm still building the fantasy part.

Get a MINI so you have a base to start, and build into it the options you want. Thats what I'm doing.

I'm with you Goin440, my MINI is the starting point - from here it's just a matter of time and money to make it into my "fantasy" MINI.

My plans include full Dinan upgrades to suspension and engine, JCW brakes, Aero kit sideskirts & possibly grills, other personalization bits on the outside, and an as-yet-undiscovered all-in-one stereo mod that includes HD radio, XM, Ipod adapter and bluetooth. That's for starters...

Mine depends on my mood...

1. Classic Mini with a twin SU 1275 & straight-cut gearbox, fully caged and ready for the street, hill climb or vintage race.

2. IB/W or JB/W MCS w/ minimal options and modded to the hilt...

3. A JCW GP with a bunch of Euro bits (the SEATS!) and a few other JCW trinkets.

AWD MINI

--My MINI converted to hybrid mode all wheel drive with two of these electric motors in the rear:

http://www.worldcarfans.com/news.cfm...-electric-mini

With a pulley, properly tuned hybrid ecu it would run stealth mode in heavy traffic and pull over 400whp with all motors engaged.

Best of both worlds. =)
