General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
its probably something new mini owners get from the dealer. someone should go to their dealer and ask for a decryptor. they have these sometimes in cereal boxes. its a thin piece of colored paper that blocks out the gray speckles
At the BSSP run (new ad agency) in San Francisco back a couple of months ago, they said that MINI would be sending out something to all MINI owners in June that could be used to see "invisible" messages in ads and get prizes and downloads and stuff in an effort to "give back" to the MINI community. I guess the program was delayed and this is the first ad. Watch your mail box for something like 3D glasses.

I'm wondering if owners will be getting something from MINI soon. My Blender issue is subscription which most times beats the newstand. So they're just keeping the suspense high.
So, why would MINI point it's advertising towards current owners instead of potential new buyers? Although it was fun for only 5 minutes, the magazine ad with the template at least was for everyone.
As for those who bought a used MINI, did you register your's at MINIUSA.com? Between that and having service once at a dealer, I'm receiving MINI correspondence like warranty changes, etc. So, I wait with great anticipation for my 3D movie glasses to arrive in the U.S. Mail.

The point, as we were told by the folks at BSSP, was to "give back" to the MINI community which made MINI the success that it is.
I don't know if registered owners of used MINIs will get the decoder or not.
After playing in photoshop - that scribble looking thing toward the bottom is a Cooper S. If I had a higher res file it could show the text above it more clearly.

Once you said that and I looked at it again and squinted, I could see the drawing of the MINI.
