no, can't make that one. I may go to the 4/5-4/6 North Course event to help out with registration and tech stuff (may stay for a session or 2 on Saturday). I'm going to do the 4 day MOTD at the end of the month, so that kinda blows my away time allotments for the month......

i had my choice of either red, pure silver, blue or yellow...chose the silver and love it. You're right in saying that in the evening or at night it looks the best...bright lights tend to make it look a little washed out. i think its the classy look if nothing else. mine has the black jack on the roof with door handles and a bit of extra chrome

I think I'm a BRG owner at heart.
But I bought off the lot and it was sport in PS,
or premium in BRG.
Mind you I repainted my CRX from black to silver.
My not by me totalled BMW was silver.
I LIKE silver.
But I really like the BRG on this car.
Of course, had I gotten the BRG, i would want silver!

Triple PS
PS was my first and only choice. All European cars look best in silver, don't know why, but I think the designs of BMW, Audi, Merc, Porsche etc. always seem to look the best in silver. Pure Silver is also the most popular color in Great Britain. (read that fact somewhere I can't remember right now) I'm also glad I ordered "Austin" with the Pure Silver roof and the black bumper inserts (also rare on Coopers) to contrast with the black mirriors. I've only seen two other PS Coopers with the body colored roof and I live 15 mi from Classic MINI, so I'm fortunate, as I see at least 1 MINI a day. Us body colored roof people are kinda' rare in the MINI world it seems. Cheers.
