Pure Silver...the color that didn't even cross my mind as my first choice, but that's what I got! I still don't regret it, and chicks dig it!

The red S is just a vinyl sticker, comes right off (especially with a blow dryer).

Agreed! PS/PS (all silver) is defintely more rare than I had thouhgt. Most Mini's I see are 2 tones. My last car was silver and it really holds up well over time.

PS = timeless

PS was my first and only choice. All European cars look best in silver, don't know why, but I think the designs of BMW, Audi, Merc, Porsche etc. always seem to look the best in silver. Pure Silver is also the most popular color in Great Britain. (read that fact somewhere I can't remember right now) I'm also glad I ordered "Austin" with the Pure Silver roof and the black bumper inserts (also rare on Coopers) to contrast with the black mirriors. I've only seen two other PS Coopers with the body colored roof and I live 15 mi from Classic MINI, so I'm fortunate, as I see at least 1 MINI a day. Us body colored roof people are kinda' rare in the MINI world it seems. Cheers.

Well, since we're all posting pics...

I want to start de-chroming the MINI soon. I love the PS/B combo.

JP- GREAT PHOTO! I actually used this same photo as a wallpaper for a month just help me get hyped up about the arrival of my new MC S... (i think i searched the gallery for "pure silver"?). Mine is just like it w/o the euro plate. I even got (stole?) the idea of the grill badge from your photo. But go ahead and de-chrome yours, so mine won't just be a JP MONEY copycat. *wink* (correction- i've got chrome side-views i specifically asked to be swapped out. another story entirely!) Lastly, where did you pick up your euro plate?
